Mark Wahlberg Says SorryMark Wahlberg who hasn’t always been the responsible family man he is today is seeking to clean up his past. Back in 1998 he was convicted of severely beating a man, causing him to lose sight in one eye and now seeking a pardon.
The “Fear” actor said “I am sorry for the actions and for damage caused. Since that time, he dedicated to becoming a better person and citizen so that he will be a role model to his children and others.”
He also said, “I have not engaged in philanthropic efforts to make people forget about my past. I can serve as an example of how lives can be turned around and how people can be redeemed”
Mark said he is not the same person that as on the night of April 8, 1988. His letter will go through official review at the Massachusetts Board of Pardons and if they approve, his case will be brought before the governor’s council.
