This month Prince William honored fallen troops in Japan exactly the way his mother late Princess Diana did 20 years ago.
The 32-year-old Prince is on a four-day trip to Japan where on the second day he visited the Yokohama War Cemetery. This is the same place where over 1,500 Commonwealth servicemen are buried. These men died in Japan as prisoners of the war or as part of their duty after the war.
The book of condolences shows a black and white picture of Princess Diana putting a wreath at the cemetery twenty year back. Prince William looked at the picture and he also wrote a very warm message to it. He wrote, “May we never forget all those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.”
